I survived the great removal of all wisdom teeth, and all seems well.  In fact, with the drugs in me, all seemed VERY well - all was exactly as it should be.  Everything about my life and the entire world seemed to make sense to me for a few minutes there.  It was kind of cool.  I might like to go there again, someday. ;)

Now I've just got to take pain killers and antibiotics on schedule for a week.  This is probably actually the hard part - I suck at doing anything on schedule.  I'm so glad Eor has five days off to get me started right.  Of course I have to go back to work on Sunday, which, they tell me, will probably be the worst day for swelling, and possibly for pain.  I might end up calling in sick, which I'm sure would really piss people off, but whatever.  We'll see.

Ugh, getting your wisdom teeth out is the worst. The doctor who did mine managed to sprain my jaw.

I think my jaw remains unsprained, but the lower right side did cause him some trouble, and is distinctly more painful than the rest.

Thank! :) I really was awfully anxious that I would die, and it seems kind of silly, now. But I still feel so immensly reliweved that it's over and I'm not dead.

I didn't want to tell you this before, but I had only one wisdom tooth removed and it was terribly painful. I hope never having to have the others done and am so glad you got through OK :)

BTW, I didn't manage to get stamps for your Christmas card before I left for Dublin so I'm afraid it'll arrive a bit late. Sorry?

That's quite alright! I only started writing out cards yesterday, coasting on the relief of having lived through what I'd been dreading. Today I'm not focussed enough to finish them.
