I can't tell you how grateful I am to all of you who kindly sent wonderful things to cheer [livejournal.com profile] eor and me!  Because this has been such a blah holiday season for me with all the stuff going on, you know.  I'm hoping the worst is over, but as it happens Eor and I haven't even managed to buy anything for each other.

But now, awww!  Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] daegaer I have cute Crowley and Aziraphale fic!  Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] mizzmarvel I have "Santa Conquers The Martians" and lots of candy and a slinky and Superman chocolate coins! :)  (I already read the book, I couldn't resist. ;))

Oops, I had meant to post this before going to work.

I made it through the whole day at work. :)  My new trainee had to leave a little early, as her grandfather was rushed to the hospital. :(

Santa Conquers the Martians! My friend Mike got a package from his parents for his birthday containing 50 science fiction classic movies, and in deference to the holiday season, that was the first one we watched. My favorite character is the robot. He's kind of fantastic.

It was fun! :) Fun to see what you were drawing from and such.

I have to admit, when I was a kid I would have thought the kids in that book had something wrong with their brains, but I was a snotty brat who hardly ever interacted with other kids. It's quite possible they do act like normal kids and I had no idea what normal was.

I also was shamed about my writing habits because I can never stick to a schedule like Mallory. Well, I make them every now and then, and they last about five minutes. I should try again.

Also, I realize her intent was to sound like a kid writing this, but I think your "Blue" sounds much more like a normal kid. What I think of as a normal kid.
