I found out when I got home, yesterday, and actually read the notice downstairs, that I wasn't supposed to have had the window open. I was supposed to have all the radiators on and NOT open a window. It's 90F-ing degrees in here. (I guess that's 32.2C-ing) :P And they supposedly want us to do this all week. I called and left a message saying we just can't stand it. I know all of you in Australia are laughing at what a wuss I am, but the thing is it's 5F/-15C outside, and when your body had to go from one to the other several times in the course of a day it's stressful.
===========
I wrote the above this morning before I went to work. I left Eor, who was home sick, helping the maintenance woman fix the bathroom radiator.
I came home early because when I called to say I had volunteered to stay late he had a temp of 103. :( We have since got it down to 101, so he feels safe to go to sleep.
