It's totally useless to bother to say it, but I'm so over and done with having my shift half a day offset from Eor's, so that I have to get up early and he has to go to bed late in order for us to see each other at all during the week, and then having my weekend a day off so that we only have one full day to spend in each other's company. On which day we don't want to do much besides lay around, because we're so tired from shorting our sleep all week.

It sucks. That's all.

Off to work, now. :P

Which, around here, is the same as saying 'just stick it out.' The odds against winning the lottery (at least our local one) are only marginally better than the odds against God being a superpower personally interested in our lives and deciding to reward us for being good. :)

Yeah. I used to have regular weekends off, and when it was just the offset on the daily shift we were still doing a lot of things on the weekend and feeling as though we had a life, together - or something resembling a life, factoring in that we're habitual hermits. Someone mentioned yesterday that I might be able to get my weekend days off again in September, but I'm just feeling so emotionally done with the whole job right now that I don't know if I care.
