Hey,
soda_and_capes, I came across an article on the National Public Radio site today which I thought you might like, Fall Out Boy Rewrites the Gender Roles of Rock. Although I completely disagree with their statement, "Wentz doesn't look like a typical rock star. He has inky black hair, a goofy grin and a predilection for wearing eyeliner and girls' jeans on his alley-cat-skinny frame, and he kisses his male bandmates on stage." No, that actually follows a long and solid tradition in rock. I think he's just edging it a tiny bit further and being a little more successful getting into mainstream than his predecessors because the time is right.
I was there checking on the spelling of Kai Ryssdal's name for an addendum to my drunken post of last night, which is now public. For at least a little while.
