*yawn* Okay, here's me, barely awake, trying to balance my checkbook*... and the calculator has gone missing off my desktop. I had a shortcut icon to it. So I go looking in the Accessories list and I can't find it there, either. Now, I might just be half asleep and missing it, but it's tempting to blame this on the updates that my computer insisted on doing over the weekend. :P Why would Microsoft give me a calculator and then take it away again? It's like a white treaty. They just want me to take whatever the bank says as correct, don't they? Well, I already do, actually, so I've foiled them on that front. I'm ahead of the curve, I became a mindless drone before it was fashionable. Anyhow, I think I know where to find a physical calculator.

Oh, wait, I don't have time for doing this. I need to shower and go to PT. crap.

*okay, not actually balance, but just run down my own calculations and then make a note of how far off I am.

Go to the start menu, select "Run" and type calc - that will open the Windows calculator.

:D

Thanks! :) (Why would it not be on my menus anymore?)

That, I don't know. My only answer is "Because Windows is made of stupid and fail." Which is not very helpful. ;)
