OMG my Statistics class is costing me so much money. *feels faint* But I'm enrolled. And I have a book. There's more materials that the bookstore expects to get in, so I'll need to check back with them.

I've been searching for a syllabus online, but can't find that.

ETA: PS - I also signed up on Facebook, I don't know why, but I guess that I felt if I was enrolled in a class it was a thing to do...? Actually I just wanted to be able to read more about that guy [livejournal.com profile] bravecows mentioned, but then I didn't. Anyhow, those of you who know my full real name can friend me there if you want. I'm not sure what the point is.

I added you on Facebook - I don't really get it either, but it's basically the only way I can keep track of my brother and sister, so I'm on there. (Plus everyone on my course uses it to organise their social lives, since apparently talking to me while I'm sitting in the same room as them isn't possible!)

I have added you! Facebook is mostly for social networking for people who might have lost touch otherwise, at least from my experience. I like it a lot better than MySpace, though, because it's cleaner and easier to navigate.

Do you like playing Scrabble or Boggle?

He's just some dude who is our National Laureate! I can't remember his works very well (I read some of them in school, but haven't read any Malay literature outside of school, even though I keep meaning to), but doesn't he look wonderful (http://flickr.com/photos/65231640@N00/2185169590/)?

He doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia entry in English, but here (http://rainingheaven.blogspot.com/2004/12/datuk-samad-said.html) is a blog post about him?

*runs to friend you on Facebook* I use it for keeping in touch with RL people mostly. You can give people imaginary elephants!

You're right, he does certainly look wonderful. I wanted to say 'cute,' but that's not quite right.

Elephants? That's certainly an incentive for me to check this out!

I might if I let myself, but usually I don't have the time, and I don't expect to have any spare time for the next little while.

It's 'cos there are these things called applications which are sort of add-ons to your Facebook experience, and most of them are maddening and make your profile page look ghastly, but a couple of them are okay. And one of them lets you give people elephants. :) :)
