[livejournal.com profile] eor summed up our weekend pretty well. :) He referred to himself once as a perpetual motion machine, and today (yesterday too, I guess) that felt very true - we kept moving.

The meal we made this evening was awesome. AWESOME. Seriously, I was barely able to open my eyes for the pepper high. Although some of that may also have been the effect of having an alcoholic drink next to me when I was eating hot food. Guess what disappears fast? Anyhow, it consisted of chicken in hot red sauce, potatoes with red chillies (though possibly it should just be 'hot chillies' because they were actually green chillies tonight.), baby carrots with ginger and fenugreek (true baby carrots, not the ones that have been through a lath) and basmati rice.

I really feel as though I ought to have some real content, but brilliancy seems to be eluding me, lately, and it's time for bed. We saw a house for sale the other day which I actually wanted even though it was too large (6 bedrooms! I'd need housemates, I could never stand kicking around in that much space!), because it had 2 acres with it, is an easy commute and was only $109K, but Eor pointed out that it needs a lot of work and that if I'm going to be having breast reduction surgery there won't be a lot of money for other things like house payments. *hangs head* Damn it. :P Well, just think of all those housemates who would probably drive me nuts.
