I was trying to tell someone about "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" yesterday, and what pops out of my mouth but "But the director! Friggin' Quentin Tarantino - uh, no, that's not what I meant to say." If I'd thought fast I could have saved myself by saying "Friggin' Quentin Tarantino has nothing on him," but I was so very embarrassed and kerflustered, because I couldn't imagine where that had come from. Honestly, I tried to think of explanations, but it was all guesswork - my brain just did something weird between thought and mouth.

So today I walked to the store and bought blueberries, because regular exercise and blueberries are both supposed to be good for your brain.

Also, I have a 'Master and Commander' question - why is Killick's name "Preserved Killick"?
