Feel free to copy this sentence into your LiveJournal if you're in a heterosexual marriage, and you don't want it "protected" by the bigots who think that gay marriage hurts it somehow.
I'm not, exactly, but I could be perceived that way, and I can't imagine why anyone would think allowing gay marriage somehow hurts heterosexual marriage. The logic gap there just blows me away. And then Michael Heath, our local bigot, claiming that gays etc are not okay because any sex outside of marriage is wrong, and yet he won't let gays marry... um, what?

A group of young grade school kids got to attend their teacher's f/f wedding in San Francisco and that got the Christian Right really up in arms. "See, it's happening already! Normalization and indoctrination of school children!" So, apparently just seeing two women happy is going to make all those kids want to be queer.
