I have to be at work at 8am tomorrow (or maybe it's 8:30, but since I'm not sure I'll go with 8) to work in what we laughingly call "the Coordination Center" again. And then for the rest of the week it'll be 5:30AM. This is gonna hurt. I guess one person's going out for a surgery and the other requested Thanksgiving off. Tomorrow one of the usual guys will be there, and he'll have to teach me everything that I don't know yet - how to send and receive reports, etc.
Turkey day is coming, so we're making boiled dinner tonight. :) (Or really just corned beef brisket boiled with potatoes and carrots. We don't do the cabbage, which means it's really not proper New England boiled dinner.) I'm not keen on turkey, at least as leftovers, but he wants to cook one perhaps this coming weekend, as undoubtedly they'll be cheap after the holiday. I'm trying to convince him we can make turkey curry with the leftovers. Right? Someone tell him turkey curry is yummy, for me? ;)
I just realized nobody has made any noises about bringing food to work for Thanksgiving. It might end up like last year where I had to organize at the last minute. I should make up a sign-up sheet and post it. So, we need paper plates, plastic cutlery, napkins... what else?
