if you'll pardon the expression, I don't pussyfoot around with bladder infections, and I used to get them a lot - the one I had that turned to a kidney infection was the worst pain I've ever dealt with, so I just don't risk it.
granted, this could literally be the drugs talking, since I'm currently on antibiotics after a flare-up of my tonsils this weekend - they put me on Augmentin again which is amoxicillin plus something to "enhance" it and lo & behold, my tonsils are no longer touching! wheeee! (I do not have 10 weeks to take off work for a tonsillectomy, why can't I live in the future where they have come up with a better way to do this surgery?)
