Today's cornbread is a complete failure. Gummy and yet also crumbly - how does it do that?? And didn't get completely cooked, so I just stuck it back in after it had been out for fifteen minutes. And I forgot to put in the baking powder until just after I had put it in the oven (the first time), so I had to pull it out and try to mix in the baking powder in the pan. Really, it would be for the best for me to eat it all myself and not subject anyone else to this mess. (It actually tastes pretty good, though!)

Trying to get hold of the real estate agent. I've phoned and left a message almost an hour ago... I'm running short of time to get the oil in the van changed, and that really has to get done. Gr. I should just take my lumps with the cornbread, take it out and let it be half cooked and go get the damned oil changed, and hope I don't make myself late for work.

Eh, so long as it tastes okay, I don't care the slightest how food looks... ;) :crosses fingers that said cornbread turns out okay half-cooked!:

I'm in agreement, there, and this fits that category - so long as I can round up the crumbs and get them into my mouth I'm good. ;)
