He got on TV and said in no uncertain terms that any British airlines were responsible to make sure that distressed passengers were taken care of. :) Lucky we flew Virgin Atlantic.

However, on a much more personal basis, [livejournal.com profile] kryptyd is our hero for taking an hour long trip of bus and tube to bring us her mobile phone so that Eor could sit on hold for an hour and get through to our airline to rebook. We'd tried payphones and they always cut us off after being on hold for 20 minutes.

Also I liked last night's hotel room much better - I was not in fear of being killed. We might stay. :)

Planning to walk around London a lot and go to some free museums.
