Moose was beside himself when I arrive this morning at 7am. First, he's not supposed to be there until 9am, so I was a little surprised - I had forgotten, for the moment, that I had been told he was going on the road, today. He, in fact, had not been officially told, which was why he was beside himself. He got a text last night from the person he was going with, Mainertoo; "Looking forward to seeing you at 7am." So, he turned up, even though he got the text at 11pm and then was up until near 3am because he'd locked his keys in his car. And when he turned up at 7am someone said they'd heard he was going to be coming in to work late because he was staying until like 9pm to work with some of the night shift people.

He was NOT amused.

My delightful travel experience of the day was getting caught in the often dead-stopped traffic because of two car crashes on my route home. Total of 13 cars involved, I guess, between the two, though how many cars in which crash varied depending on the report. I - many times - just turned my engine off and threw my parking brake, so as not to burn up my clutch and waste gas. I wish there was any place to just pull over and wait along the highway; I'd have been happier just writing in my journal for a while or something, but emergency vehicles were trying to get around. Arrived home about two hours later than usual, and decided I had to go for a walk, after sitting for so long in the car. So Eor and I rambled down to the little graveyard on South Freeport Road, and read stones. There was one rather good epitaph I think I'm going to have to go back and write down. :)
