My car is now fixed, and I'm $520 poorer. While I was waiting for the car I wrote a little more Story, but (*debating how I should tell you this...*) again, I will have to change the end of a chapter I have already posted. *hangs head in shame* This is not right, this is not how the game is supposed to work. I'm supposed to find a way to write my way out of the stupid mistakes I make. Um, yeah. Only the thing is, when I wrote the end of the last chapter and posted it I had actually planned to have a certain thing happen, and then for some reason I forgot what I had planned and after I posted it I read what I'd posted (duh, read it before you post it, stupid) and went, "Uh, what? What did I just do??" Yeah, so... my new rule has to be, type, then wait. Give it a day, reread it before posting it, remember where you were planning on going.

Heeeeyyy!!! Eor got the mail and I have a book from cyberquail! :) "Inheritance," the fourth of Paolini's series which starts with "Eregon." I'm almost ready for it, too, perfect. :)
I say 'almost' because, as usual, I'm behind on my Patrick O'Brian book (the read is currently at "HMS Surprise"), AND, AND, I also am the lucky, lucky girl who received a late Christmas present last weekend from littleredhead and groundctrl of the second season of "Sherlock," which I've had sitting on my desk all week, looking at it and anticipating getting a chance to watch this evening. :)
I can't believe I didn't post about the fact that they came down last weekend and we had a visit full of catching up and tales of their house building, and went to see that new Oz movie. I had meant to, wanted to, tell all the details andpick the movie apart review the movie. (It was fun, but I kind of am over this business of filming everything so it will look cool in 3D. Really, skimming by jutting rocks and falling from really high places does not advance the plot any.)
I don't know where my head has been, all week that I haven't actually got it together to write about stuff much at all. Well, worrying about Eor's toes, not sleeping all that well and getting my schedule bounced around, but that's no excuse really, as that's just my life. I should be used to it by now.
Now I really need to buckle down and work on a beta for someone. It's something I promised to do about Christmas time and have had the document on my computer for a few weeks, now, and I'm sure she'd like to move this book along in its progress toward possible eventual publishing. I have picked at it a bit, but really just picked.
