So, I began writing Chapter 16, after deciding that I should just kill the last end of Chapter 15 and go the direction I had intended to... and now I'm second guessing myself. Or third guessing. I hate throwing out writing I have posted. Grr. I guess I should just do it. Does anyone love the end of Chapter 15 and think I should not end it with "And then he knew no more..." ?

So, The Badpiper instantly got my attention by posting this on his Facebook page:

(Actually, I don't follow him, so he could have posted it months ago, but my cousin commented on it today - I think she's his biggest fan. :))

My lack of posts, lately, has been because of work eating my brain. I think I see an end in sight - the whole damn plan is going to roll out tomorrow. It's going to be horrible. And there's still a lot of work ahead, but after the horror of the first day gets over with I'll feel better. I hope. Usually I predict doom and disaster so that I can be pleasantly surprised. And my coworkers will make it happen, regardless of how awful the planning and development has been from the top - they're generally amazing that way. They've almost given up complaining that things are impossible, because they keep doing impossible things. But HQ keeps demanding more and more of fewer and fewer of us. We've always had the worst stress and mental health of any government agency and I doubt that's getting any better.
