Yesterday, on my way home, in the middle of the road just down from the close Main Street part of Freeport, I spotted something dead in the road that looked suspiciously like a black kitten from a distance, so I turned around and went back, stopping my car in the middle of the road to force traffic to move around on the outside (because it was almost on the line), and got my snow shovel from the back of the car to move it out of the road. (I hate seeing animals run over and smeared all over, it's just horrible.)
It appeared to be a mink.
I came home an hour early because I wasn't feeling well, and slept. And now I have to go back to bed (7PM) because I need to be at work at 0500 tomorrow morning to teach a class. :P
