I've used up all my material, and I'm not yet at 50K. Oh well. Tomorrow I'll have to start making up extra conversations between people and describing things in excruciating detail.
I gave my step-sister's daughter a walk-on cameo in my story as the fire chief; I hope she won't mind. She actually is a fire fighter in real life, and I find the fact that she's also a very cute little round faced young woman with long, blond hair to be just... well, I can't resist the juxtaposition. I'm not sure if she'll make the final cut, though, after I finish doing edits. I might need to find some way to make sure she does.
