Very, very glad we've gotten rid of that condo. Our Volkswagen Westfalia, has died for the final time - at least for us - and is now in limbo waiting to be sold. Eor has given Jon at Foreign Auto right of first refusal, for having kept the Westy running for so many years, and Jon says if he doesn't end up buying it he'll help Eor sell it. Having sold the condo means that we'll be able to buy a new car, although it will be something cheap and economical on gas. We probably shouldn't have been using the Westy as a daily driver. Eor's studying up and trying to decide what we should get. I've been wanting a Fiat since Cyberquail got hers, but we'll get what makes sense, I guess.
In other news, Eor helped the neighbors unload hay on Saturday, and came home with stories about the two old cattle farmers who live on opposite sides of this hill and work together. The old guys were cutting the hay and the son and daughter of one of them ('kids' older than us) were the ones unloading the hay.
And we went down to the Town Hall and registered to vote, this afternoon. It seems funny to have been here this long and just be getting that settled in.
