I accomplished most of my list, yesterday (Painted a storm frame, finished sewing the patches on Eor's hat, made apple crisp, cleaned one shelf of the pantry, reset some mouse traps, walked a mile on the treadmill - although my secondary goal had been to try to get back on the treadmill in the afternoon for another mile, which I didn't do.), and my list for today (take pics of the dying tree that's threatening to fall on our barn to convince the insurance company that it would be in their best interest to help us pay for taking it down before they have to pay for the damage when it falls, paint another frame).
AND walked 1.25 miles on the treadmill at 2.8mph or something like that. My usual comfortable pace is 3mph, although I hope to get back up to 4mph if I work at it. I used to be able to do that for an hour.
Eightball is planning to visit Hawk for Thanksgiving and asked me for gift ideas. I said tea was something he could have (as he's on this Ketogenic diet) or maybe Eightball could have a t-shirt made with the sprog and the caption "All Hail Our New Overlord!" I blame Daegaer's influence for this thought. And Hawk's statement that the baby decided to be a week late just to let them know who was in charge. So I've just been spending my time trying to do the captioning on this tiny picture he posted on Facebook, wondering if it will be too fuzzy to put on a shirt. Hm. And does it matter, so long as you can see it's a baby in the picture? People will get the joke.
