My brain is mostly toast, but after making tacos I'm starting to come out of it. :) SO glad to see my sweetie!

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I never got back to replying to you! I've been letting everything get out of hand and fall behind, lately.

Let's see, I took September 11 off for that - easy to remember - so it's that weekend. Are you thinking you might be in the neighborhood of Carver??

Actually, my family reunion is the 13th, and the possibility of seeing you and eor at the Faire on the 12th would give me extra encouragement to get out there!

Are you going to be camping? If so, where's your campground? Do you even go to a campground? That would certainly be an adventure if I just put the tent in the car and went!

Miles Standish (http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/southeast/mssf.htm)campground, and it's pretty cheap! I think we're at the limit as far as cars go ([livejournal.com profile] littleredhead and [livejournal.com profile] groundctrl decided they wanted to bring their own car, this year), but Eor says there are more camping spaces, and personally I'm sure that even if there weren't they might have a lot we could put your car in and still pop your tent into our space. It would be crazy cool to see you, I'm getting excited!! :D

You mean I can just wander in and put my tent on your spot? Wouldn't that annoy them? In the alternative, if I rented a spot, how would I know it was anywhere near yours? And how much is a spot per night? And are you staying both Friday and Saturday night? Surely you're not staying Sunday night too (which I would have to, and drive back Monday) So many questions!

Hugs!

Yeah, it would probably annoy them if you just dropped in and popped up another tent, and even if they didn't say anything Eor would be all pins and needles thinking they would any second. :) But, they go by number of cars in the space, so I was trying to find a way around the letter of the rule by considering stashing your car in the day use area lot. Still, they might tow from the lot at sundown or something, or ticket.

We're at Barrett's Pond, J12, so look at the website and see if you can find one near. J21 appears to be the closest. I don't know if it will work to try to give you a direct link, but I'll try...

If that doesn't work you'll have to drill through the site and it's a little confusing. It takes you back up to a national search thing, but Eor said that's what it is supposed to do, and then you have to drill back down to Massachusetts and then there's the map with the little pin things you hover over and it shows the name of the campground. Myles Standish is on the Cape. If you want more detailed instructions with more coherency just let me know and I'll work it out. :)

We are actually not staying Sunday, no. :( We're driving back that day and going back to work on Monday. :P

Okay, done! Actually, I got site J5, even though 21 was closer, because 21 is all meashed in between other sites. There's probably a reason J5 is by itself and not reserved (downwind from the loos, probably), but whatever. Now I'm committed to the family reunion I suppose, but at least I don't have to cram in at my brother's house, and it will be sooo cool to see you and go to the Faire! Wheeee!
