This being an old house, we intend to get the windows replaced when we can afford it, but for now we're using storm windows to make things tighter. Some came with the house, but there were a few missing, so we finally went and ordered four storms.
The place we went to said they were not supposed to sell to individuals, only contractors, so there would be no way they could take them back if there was any kind of issue. Never continue when someone says that - it's like an invitation to let them fuck up. I picked up the storms yesterday and they're not actually outside mount, as they said they would be, you have to fit some of the storm inside the window frame in order to get the outside mounting rim flush with the frame to put in the screws. And, although we gave them accurate measurements, they made them like a quarter inch too large to fit in.

I had plans to go to King Richard's Faire with my cousin, today, but the Faire closed on account of they thought the weather would be bad. :P Di called me late last night and we've made plans to go next weekend, instead.
