The cat came back. Thought he wasn't gonna? I expected it, actually. I had a little bit of a conversation with his person over the phone this time. She's actually in DC and left Neko with her sister, and she wondered if I had any insight into why he's ending up at our house. I said I thought he'd just found his way here by accident the first time, but came back because he liked us - I had a dog who did that when I was a kid. He found some neighbors he liked to visit and we could depend on him being there whenever he was missing. She thinks he doesn't like the dogs at her sister's house, and is afraid she'll need to get him down to DC and have him be an indoor cat, again.

ETA: Oh, and business at the Credit Union went off without a hitch, so I should have a new car in a few days. :) The old car is going to be picked up at around 10pm this evening, I don't know why. That will probably disturb my sleep. I hope they don't get lost and need to call for directions.
