I managed to do a round trip today of 332 miles for work - to Rockland, Bar Harbor, Augusta, then back to Portland. Google says this takes 6 hours 40 minutes, but it took me 9 hours, with road construction, rain, stopping to pee and later to eat, and of course the actual point of the trip, the data downloads I had to collect. However, the good thing is that I knew it would take this long. I have developed a habit of adding a half hour or so to Google's estimate for every two hours, so I shaved an hour off my work time yesterday so I could use it today. So, maybe I'm developing time management skills?
ETA: Only bad thing; I may have food poisoned myself, because I bought some hard boiled eggs at a rest stop and now I feel horrible.
