We made it back yesterday afternoon, but I've still been acting like I'm on vaca - dubbing around reading fic, catching up on the f-list, etc. Must go do some things, today.

Highlights of the vaca -

Lincoln, NH has a great breakfast place called Flapjack's, where tables are waited by a really pleasant older guy on slow days (Friday 10am-ish was our first visit). There's a toy train that runs around the top of the dining rooms, a gorgeously landscaped little garden, and the food is very good. We had the simple eggs over easy, homefries and corned beef hash on Friday and on Sunday I had an omelet with ham, peppers and onions. They are a little short on veggies, I don't think they had the option of asparagus or spinach or I'd have had that, but it was awfully good, nonetheless. :) Their homefries are fantastic, though they do come with caramelized onions if you don't ask for them without. Still fantastic, either way. :)

Walking along the Wilderness Trail. We did okay, even though Eor got blisters the first day and we had to pad him up with moleskin for the second day.

Worlds Most Perfect Day on Friday! Warm, sunny... amazing. No mosquitoes during the day, and the blackflies where there but not biting. Overcast and a little cooler on Saturday, but still great.

We did a lot of reading and drinking of tea on Saturday, waiting for it to start raining so we could listen to it on the roof, but it didn't start until about dark.

All in all, a very nice vaca. :)
