I have entered the modern world somewhat and am now able to make posts with my phone. I don't expect it to be something i do regularly as typing on the phone is about fifty gazzilion times more difficult than using an actual keyboard, and the phone does not interface well with the dreamwidth online posting function. Is there a dreamwidth app?
Also, unrelated to dreamwidth, for any of you wonderfully tech-minded folk: i want to use ringtones as alarms for events on my huawei leica and it doesn't seem to be possible. Do i need to download a more special calender app or something?

QuickRec: set up your Dreamwidth posts by e-mail. It's is 1000% easier than using the posting interface on the phone.

I'll bet it acually is easier once it has been set up. I'll have to figure that out.

There isn't a Dreamwidth app, but the posting by email thing is legit.

I can tell you how to use ringtones as your actual alarm noise, but I'm not sure I know how to use it in the calendar app. I use an app called aCalendar, and I love it. It does have that functionality. (It's also a free Android app that interfaces very easily with Google Calendar.)

I'll look up aCalender, thank ypu! And, yeah, now you mention it, how do you use ringtones as regular alarms? Right now if i change one alarm i've changed them all.
