Well, today I see the surgeon to discuss my options regarding this tear in my rotator cuff. My Physical Therapy guy is amazing and has me feeling almost normal again after four appointments, but it took only three weeks after I stopped seeing him, last time around, for me to go from feeling fine to having shots of quite extreme pain. I mean, possibly if I went just once every two weeks he could keep me feeling okay, but that still seems like too many appointments. OTOH, six weeks with my arm in a sling. I probably won't even be able to drive. (Maybe I could rent a car with an automatic shift.)

I've done physical therapy for a variety of reasons. Sometimes I had to go every day. I can't imagine how much it must hurt! Good luck with the surgeon.

Thankfully it doesn't hurt all the time, it's just a sharp, stabbing pain when I lift my arm. I am pretty tired of it, though.
