I wrote Uncle Jimcito a letter, and he and Aunt Patee invited us to a Zoom call on Saturday, in reply. It was lovely seeing their faces, and they're quite delightful, and were full of praise for my letter. Aunt Patee said it reminded her of my Mom, but Dom Jimcito said it reminded him of his own mother, which I took as high praise, because that is what I always aspire to. When I think of good writing I think of PG Wodehouse and my grandmother. He said he has a stack of her letters, and they could be released as a book, and I was like "Yeah, do that!" but he was overwhelmed by the idea of another project. I think he's avoiding all his projects at present by baking cookies for the cute little girl who lives upstairs. Which, I am a grand master of avoiding projects, so I have no leg to stand on to criticize.
No indeed, I am completely legless, and I am NOT criticizing. I should be typing up Grandmother's journals. I started the first one umpteen billion years ago and haven't made any progress. Wish I was like all these other housebound COVID folks and didn't have to go to work six whole hours a day... Yup, I have more time than ever, and all I do is complain. And not walk on the treadmill.
Time to get ready for work, and what did I do today? Watched a video on YouTube by Jill Bearup, about boob armor. Oh, and Uncle Roger getting schooled by Chef Wan. I loved the interaction between these guys.
