Because I never actually recovered from the hotel stay, I put myself on a liquid diet yesterday morning, to give my poor tummy a break, and actually didn't eat anything solid until noon, today, when I broke my fast with oatmeal because I was feeling lightheaded. I probably would have been fine having no dinner, only Eor said "What about mac and cheese?"* and I couldn't resist that thought. :)
I tried to cram a lot in, today, between studying up for the training I'll be giving next week, trying to sort out some technical issue with part of the training materials, doing some data entry that's been lying around, reading the briefings for the time I was gone (actually quite a few of those were rather fascinating) and getting my expense reports turned in for the trip. I got up to pee and to heat up my bouillon/V8/milk drink (it only curdles a little!) (yes, that was my liquid diet), but mostly I sat at the desk and worked. My ass feels notably wider. There came a point near the end of the day when I was trying to finish the silly expense report thing when I asked the admin assistant for help and she said "All you have to do there is put a checkmark in that box and you're done with that page," - I decided I was completely burnt out.
Tomorrow it's in at 8am, which is sort of like the worst of both worlds. I'll have to get up early as if I were going in for 7am, but then I'll hit rush hour traffic on the way home and probably won't get home until almost the same time as if I started at 9am. Well, I shouldn't be so negative, I've got nothing to complain about.

*gluten free penne pasta made from corn, actually, because I can't seem to find the corn elbow macs, but that's okay, I think we both like the corn penne pasta better.
