Kraken rum is... UNSPEAKABLY GOOD. Try this one: At most mexican markets or bodegas, they sell something called "Champagne soda." It's completely weird on its own, but with kraken, it tastes caramely and dark and delicious. We call it "Krak Champagne." Also, when you hold the bottle, you effortlessly look like a pirate.
I'll have to see if I can get in to the bodega in Portland, some time and see if they have that! :) Krak Champagne sounds great!

Which is exactly why I bought it. ;) I don't know if I'll be allowed to carry it at the Eastport Pirate Days festival, but maybe if I do decide to busk (I'm trying to learn to play the mandolin before September) and talk to the right person.
