what's up with LiveJournal?

It's not giving me anything, today - no 404, connection reset, nothing, just a blank page that doesn't even indicate that it's trying to load.

It's a general problem they are working on, they say. Some servers are definitely up now, though a bit slow, others still aren't. I think it was down everywhere earlier.

I could go onto the general LJ page just now, but when I try to log in, I come back to the blank page/error page.
