I've spent the day in the house, mainly reading and running to the bathroom. Turns out taking laxatives and shitting your guts out is not as much fun as I thought it would be. I always think these things will be an interesting new experience before I do them, and generally, so far, I've been disappointed in my forays into the realm of the medical.

I am officially old - going for a colonoscopy tomorrow. I think if they can't find anything wrong with me after this I'm just going to give up and going back to ignoring the pain. Maybe it really is all in my head.

Nonsense! NEVER accept that pain is "alright". There are occasionally people who have something up with them that the medics don't and can't know, but don't let them for a moment be lazy. I've had some useless doctors in my time. It's lucky that I've never had much wrong with me.

I thank you for your apparent belief that I'm not crazy. ;) Oh, I should have added to my newest post that the doctor did give me a prescription for an anti-spasmodic; apparently sometimes the intestines can have muscular spasms, but that was all he could think of to help me. I said I'll try it.

Maybe it makes you old, but hopefully it'll make you feel better to! I know mine did, as I got the meds I needed, and I was 19.
Old is when you can't stop talking about all the medical problems you have or how many surgeries you had. Did I tell you I had my tonsils out?
