Study shows "people who watch Fox News ... are 18-points less likely to know that Egyptians overthrew their
government than those who watch no news at all"

That's awesome - just absorb that for a moment. Watching Fox makes you less informed than watching NO NEWS AT ALL. I seriously had a hard time stopping laughing. :)

Yeah, aren't those the same people who griped about those who got their news from the Daily Show? why, yes, yes they are.

Who griped? Fox? Because in that article it mentions that The Daily Show is one of the better sources for the watchers actually understanding their information.

Jon Stewart went on Fox news, and mentioned that report showed fox news watchers were badly informed. They roasted him for a week, coming up with their own report saying daily show and Colbert Report watchers were even less informed. But not by much, and it was a report Fox news paid for. Hysterical stuff.

I get my news from several places, but Daily and Colbert make it palatable, keep me from screaming and throwing things at the tv, b/c it's funny and not just heartbreakingly say how stupid it all is.
