I spent longer, today, getting Moose settled in how to do some of the job than I would have to just have done it myself, but that is the way it is whenever someone's learning a new job. By next month he'll be quick at it and there'll be much less for me to do. :)
I'm glad it's my Friday, even if I only worked three days this week. I'm still not feeling all that well; sneezing more, actually. I'm making my little list of things to do, tomorrow, though, and it includes 'Buy tickets to 8:30PM show!' because we're going to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie with Littleredhead and Groundctrl! *dances with glee!* And the plan is, we're going to the new Freeport movie theater; I can walk over and get the tickets, and they're going to pick up Indian takeout on their way down, so we can hang out and have a nice visit at our place before strolling over there, which sounds like an all-round good plan and pleasant evening. :)
I'm also pretty pleased at the idea of having a theater so close that we can easily walk to it without miles of ugly parking lot around it. ;) I think making a theater inside a parking garage that is under shops is the sanest and most civilized idea I've seen in city planning in ages, and I hope other towns in Maine start thinking about such solutions.
And then on Saturday Eor and I are thinking of a trip up to Augusta to the Barnes and Noble, and in the late afternoon we expect a visit from Hawk and Minx, his mate, to exchange stockings. (I really only made one for Hawk, though, not realizing at that time that she was going to me here, so maybe I should get more stuff for it to make it more for both of them - something else to do tomorrow...)
Anyway, it's going to be a busy and social weekend. :)
I am feeling better, psychological though it may be, with the holiday over with and the days getting longer. I said earlier today that I possibly should have used some happy pills, and Eor said that he thought I did okay, considering it's the first Holiday after losing my Dad and Eightball disappointed me by not visiting when I had hoped he would, and I got teary when I thought about it like that, which made me realize he was probably right.
Okay, maybe I should eat now, I'm getting maudlin!
