For about 27$ in new materials and some scraps he had lying around (and of course his time and work) Eor came up with a way for us to dry the clothes while the parts are coming in for the broken clothes dryer...

Shooting down the hall. New clothes line rack Eor invented (well, who knows, he may have reinvented something that's been done before, but it's fully from his brain). Lower board fits into door frame and comes up against the part the door hits. Upper board sits on top of door frame. Ropes stretch down hall to the opposite door. You can of course only use this if you happen to have two opposing doors in an area little used.

Different angle, possibly better to see how it fits into the door frame - the beauty of it is nothing is screwed into the actual door frame, it just sits in there and can be easily taken down.

Looking down the hall. Please ignore the fact I can't hold a camera square. It's a perfect use for this hall, which normally feels like wasted space.

Obviously we also need to get more rope, as it's only half strung.

Yes as a matter of fact, I AM kind of proud of my Eor. ;) Also for the fact that he can fix the clothes dryer as well (he's done it before), but now we have another alternative which might save us some money on electricity.
