First, and most importantly, my Mom is now posting photos she's taking in Korea. And in my own dull news, I had my orientation at the cashier job which I'm starting on Monday. I'll get retraining, rather than starting form scratch. I was amazed how many people remember me.:)

Also, the job I just left gave me a nice going-away party, with a huge, gorgeous cake, and an _enourmous_ bouquet of flowers which is now dominating my kitchen table. It's kind of cool to feel wanted, at both the place I'm leaving and the place I'm going.:)

I'm going to ask for Friday off (yeah, I know, asking for time off already, this will probably not make them so hot on me) because I might end up 'personing' a table at a 'community-building' event which is supposed to happen. So, if you're in Portland, Maine on Friday, August 2nd, and you take a walk through Deering Oaks Park and see some tables with flyers and stuff on them, take a look around for me. I can't promise I'll be there, but right now it looks fairly likely. My table will probably have a little banner on the front reading something like "Polyamorous community - Poly in Northern New England - polynne e-mail list." If you don't say 'Hi' I'll just sit there and read, most likely.:)
