Ah, tea...

Eor went out this morning to do some kinda technical thing for NNEI, and he mentioned that the kitchen smells like rotting meat and the dishes needed to be done. So I did them. And I also made myself a cup of lapsang souchong tea. (Actually, I mixed it with hot chocolate, because even I am not bold enough to drink that stuff straight.) I haven't had any lapsang souchong in ages because people always complain how much it stinks. So now the kitchen smells like burning tar. I wonder if he'll think this is an improvement. >:)

We had a little snow yesterday, enough to cover most of the dirty snowbanks back up again and make things pretty.

Now for food... I forgot to eat, and started feeling shakey a few minutes ago. I've got eggs on the stove, now.

Wow, somebody else who actually drinks it! What it reminds me of is one time when I went to Boston and visited the Tea Party ship - do you suppose they carried lapsang souchong in that ship at one time? Or is it just that it smells like the tar that was used to caulk the seams? But from there I go off into flights of fancy about sailing ships and pirates, just from the smell.:) I do have it with milk and honey, sometimes. Still haven't quite got myself up for tasting it completely black, I'm a little scared.:) "It's a warrior's drink." (--Worf, ST:TNG)
