JimDes now has his own journal up! :) The other day he complained that I'd given another of our co-workers a notebook but I never gave him a notebook, and that charmed me. It sounded so much like me in one of my insecure moments of jealousy, that I'm for some reason so much more likely to get about friends than people I'm involved with.:) (Eor could probably do about anything with anyone and it wouldn't bother me, because I always know where I stand with him.) (Though of course JimDes might not have been feeling at all like that.) So anyway, my point was, I consequently got him both a notebook and an LJ code, so now he's got a place to write the passing thoughts and a place to expand upon them as a public soapbox.:)

Speaking of insecurities, the only friend I feel as confident about where I stand as I do about Eor is Caw. She was by the other night; showed up and hung out while I cooked dinner. She's talking about moving to Alaska come summer. This will really bum me out, if she does. Nobody else just showes up and hangs out while I cook dinner.

notebooks and live journals

It was more of a fecetious reply than a plea for gifts, however, the request for a code . . . given my current financial situation, that would have turned into begging had you waited a little longer to give it to me. By the way thanks for both. The notebook is great . . . now I can remember the things that always seem to slip my mind (Thank you Mr. Brownstone 1986-1988) like lifejackets for ducks that can't swim.

I really didn't interpret the comment about the notebook as a plea for gifts. However, I also honestly wasn't sure you really wanted the LJ code - just kind of gave it to you hoping you _might_ be convinced to use it. I guess I need to be hit with a clue-by-four, sometimes.
