Afrai has a new story out, a Wat/Chaucer slash. For more of Afrai's wonderful work, check here. I think I've neglected to give her the props she's due, previously. Apparently, if I'd been quick after giving her the LiveJournal, I could have claimed her soul, and I'm still cursing my bad luck that I didn't know that was possible. Maybe if I owned her soul I could get her to marry me and let me bear all her children.

In other things I didn't know - I heard a rumor today that Jimmy Buffett is bi. Hm! I guess I have to say it's rumor because I haven't heard the substantiating evidence for this claim, as yet - if anyone knows more, please reply.;)

And then of course there's always the debate of "Do we call somebody by what they act like or what _they_ choose to label themselves as?" I had one friend who'd acted bi all through his life, but never chose to use the label for himself. He called himself gay, then, later on, straight, and when pressed about it said he was just who he was and chose to reject labels. Which is how I _feel_ about myself, but labels are shorthand that allows quicker communication.... there's still always a need to explain things in detail, but at least you're starting from somewhere in the same ballfield, perhaps.
