Wodehouse-ian pleasures!

I have Jeeves books! *squeee!!*  I had to go get a package at the post office today ( a digression about incompetent mail carriers )

and eor wasn't here to make me wait for Christmas to open the package, so I reasoned that if someone didn't want me to see the contents until Christmas they would have asked for it to be wrapped, I decided to go ahead and open it, and what do I find but "Life With Jeeves" and "Thank You, Jeeves," sent by eor's oldest sister.  Yaaaaayy!!  :):)   

I'm not reading them, though, until I finish the book I'm currently in: "Motherless Brooklyn" (Johnathan Lethem).  ( squeeing on Motherless Brooklyn )

And in sort of related stuff...  I forgot to mention on this journal (although I squeed about it on indeedsir that lucylou drew me an illustration for The Sleeping Aid!  I love it. :)  (I also think it could look kind of like Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson in Shanghai Noon, which is kind of cool...)

And in unrelated and definetly unsquee news: Casper the Ghostman tendered his resignation day before yesterday, and Tuesday will be the last time I work with him. *is sad*  It's good for him, but I'll miss him.  In sort of related to the last few days news, he thinks the stories coming out about TSA abuses are intentional, to ready the public to delete our jobs.
