Happy Birthday to eor

My darling, my sweet, love of my life and center of my Universe. ;) 

(Of course, as I'm sure you realize, at this moment I still haven't gotten you anything. I'm doing this "I should be out! Looking for a present!" freak out, and the sane part of my mind is saying "Yeah, right - where are you going to buy something at 7AM?" There's several other brain parts trying to get a word in edgewise, including the one which demands breakfast, but this is getting too cluttered.)

I suppose the only answer at this point is to put it off to the weekend.

my day in haiku

Gasping out of sleep
Half hour before the alarm
Full lungs want chai tea

Inspired (challenged?) by daegaer.  Well, it's just the start of my day.  It took me forever to get around to making the chai (and no milk - I can't have that when my lungs are acting up.)  It did seem to help a bit.  Make me cough, anyway.  I put in black pepper, white pepper and chili - it couldn't help but make me cough. :)  Also cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon, whittled ginger, all in a base of lapsang souchong, with two tablespoons of honey.  I feel like a witch doctor.
