I haven't even looked at my friends page yet, today.  ( preparing to go to Florida )

I got the book I ordered from Abebooks - Emily Eden's "Up The Country: Letters to her sister from the upper provinces of India"!  Unfortunately it turns out that it's volume 2 of 2 - that wasn't at all clear to me when I was ordering it - but it should be interesting reading, regardless.  I wonder if I should write to the seller and ask if he has volume 1, also?  I think I should read it in the open air, though, as it appears to be a first edition with all the dust intact.  Not for reading on the plane.

I have things I want to put on my mp3 player (daegaer's voice!  Plus, emo chinese music posted by bravecows!) but the damned player won't be recognized by my computer and remains stubbornly disconnected, and it's time for me to go to work. :P  Am considering leaving it in hopes eor can fix it after he comes home, but also want music to walk to work by.  Or, at this point, ride the bus by.
