I lived through the tests. Didn't even pass out, though it would have been a mercy if I could have. That was some of the worst pain I've ever experienced under controlled conditions. ( TMI cut )
Several people (co-workers, ex-coworkers, ex-classmates) who I've talked with today have been very encouraging about their or their family member's similar situations, so I'm not as worried as I was at first. That's how I deal with things - I talk about it to everyone who'll hold still, and gather every scrid of anecdotal information I can, and it usually makes me feel better.
Yeah. So. Now it's just the teeth to look forward to. Yay, an excuse to eat lots of ice-cream! ;)
PS ETA - Mammogram is scheduled for January 31. ;)
