There. I've written to my old manager to ask for his phone number to put on my resume so I can apply for a training position which has been posted at work, and I've also written to the College of Nursing at USM (found a proper address) to ask for help with the application/enrollment process. I stated my goal as RN, Nurse Practitioner, if possible. I hope I'm not blowing smoke. I just can't keep feeling so desperate and angry and stagnated about work, I need to feel as though I have motion and action. At least at the moment I feel as though I've done a little something.
I also organized my email quite a lot, looking for my old manager's email address. All that work, and all I really got from it was the understanding of just how horrible a slacker I am where my email is concerned. And reminded me of how many people I haven't written to in a long, long time.
Now I need to call my Dr's office to thank them for calling so quickly with my test results the other day, and then call the Regency Hotel Spa and make an appointment for a massage this weekend for Eor and myself. I'm looking forward to that. :)
I also hope to go in to work a little early and review more info about the upcoming class I have to teach next week. Yeah, I have to be pretty nervous to start work early.
ETA: Made that appointment with the Regency. OMG - That place is designed for people who have too much money and need to find some way to get rid of it. But if we show up early we can use the co-ed shower and sauna and be all deep down clean and half putty before we even start the hour of massage, and that's all included in the massage price.
