It was hard to start moving this morning, but I somehow tricked myself into doing my back exercises before I was conscious enough to argue with myself. :) Possibly did more than I should. Got my shower in, did a load of dishes, ate, did some maths (only fifteen minutes or so, but it's a start), and called back that woman from the bank who's been trying to get a hold of me for two weeks. It's not anything like everything on my list of things to do, and it's still not as much as I should be doing every day, but if I can ramp up a little... well, it's something, anyhow. Better than being completely unproductive and lazy, as I am most of the time.

ETA: Oh, also checked up on a job posting for Consumer Safety Inspector - checking up that places which cut meat and such are keeping everything sanitary. I might apply, I have to check if I meet the requirement for "time-in-grade" - it's a government job, and they want you to have been at the previous grade level of pay for a year before they'll move you up.

baby bear!

(I'm finally getting around to posting all my pics from Florida way back in May, and I had expected that this one would be completely impossible to make out. Of course I'm looking at it at night, so that might make it more visible. If it's day in your timezone, wait until later to look at it. ;))

And in other news: Supposedly Karl Rove came through our checkpoint today.
