We had a lovely visit with
littleredhead and
groundctrl yesterday, and bored them probably near to tears with talking about houses, since it's the only topic in our heads at the moment. Thankfully they have at least a professional interest in such topics. :) We drove over to Wiscasset with them, in the snow, and did drivebys of the house we looked at on Saturday and a few others, including one which someone else they know is seriously considering buying (very pretty!). And we found a bookstore in the town, which is at least something. So now we know what we'd be doing if we lived there - haunting the bookstore. ;)
littleredhead also recommended The Sunken Garden, in the summer. I guess someone decided to transform an old house foundation into a park, which sounds kind of cool. :)
( this got long and stupidly thinky about houses and towns )
Crap, I really need to get my bath and breakfast and do some dishes and stop thinking about this for the love of god. My car needs shoveling out.
But in more important news,
groundctrl and
littleredhead's new kitten is just about the cutest thing ever! :D
