Maaan, I can't beLIEVE I've decided I'm going to work, today. I think that previous sentence every time I sneeze. I still haven't taken my shower or had caffeinated tea, so maybe things will look up after that, but, yuck. If you take three days off in a row you have to go to a doctor, and it's not that I'm so averse to that, only I'd feel completely foolish going in there when all they'd tell me would be "Rest and get plenty of fluids." I don't have the flu, even, it's just extreme exhaustion, stuffy head, sore throat. Achy, but not severely so. I slept nine or ten hours for two nights in a row, but this morning I got up at my usual time because I was having dreams about drowning - my throat was closing up so I couldn't breath. Now I'm yawning uncontrollably until tears are running down my face.

Must make tea and shower, I guess.

Argh, I can't believe I didn't post about this already! I got a wonderful birthday card from [profile] wolfie_sara, yesterday! It was perfect timing - she'd sent it two weeks ago, and finally asked in email if it had got here, and I was just responding that no, I hadn't seen it, when Eor decided to check the mailbox, and there it was. :) A wonderful picture of Watson and Murray and they've used all sorts of things to spell out "Happy Birthday," with suspenders and stethoscopes and bandages, and then my name picked out in bullet holes - it's awesome. :D Right down to the stray whisp of Murray's cigarette smoke that puts the 'h' in 'birthday.' Hee! :D

ETA: it's now perched on the brim of my witch hat, because that makes a good display stand, on top of the giant speakers in the livingroom.
