Mistress of the Night says my newest carrot muffins (yesterday's recipe, with applesauce instead of butter) are even better than the last batch. ~.~ She might have been hungry, though, since it was 9am and it was the first thing she'd eaten, apparently! ;)
I experienced my first condo association meeting tonight, because I was in early teaching so I was able to attend. We started at 6pm and didn't get done until almost 8. Good lord. I mean good lord. Mostly we were pretty focused, too, there was only a little bit of goofing around and there's only friggin five condos - I'd hate to see what it would be like at someplace where there were a lot more. It was good, though, over all.
Class went okay, though we were treated to a new wrinkle - now the Training Coordinator is required to come in and give a little speech that amounts to "If you don't pass this class you'll be fired." Yeah, not like that would put any pressure on our students or anything. I told them not to worry about it, they would pass the class... or I would hit them with a piece of rope.
Oh, re the association meeting... I seem to have volunteered us for weeding, again, but I guess if we say we want some off our association fees that will probably be done for us in compensation. Also I volunteered to go around and look at the areas which will need to be shoveled and make a diagram of who will have responsibility for what re snow removal. Seems kind of silly, but I know that's the kind of thing that makes or breaks the good neighbor spirit, sometimes.
