I kind of want to post about the neuropsych testing I had yesterday, because it was mostly fun, but I don't want to spoil the surprises for anyone if you ever get to play these games yourself. One which I thought was interesting was a game where the tester doesn't tell you what the rules are and then changes them as you go along. I told her this was like a bad relationship. :)

I actually had a decent night's sleep last night, which was a great pleasure after not being able to breath the previous two nights. Although when Eor left for work it was not as good.

We have lovely cards from cyberquail and from littleredhead and groundctrl - thank you!! :D I have to put up a ribbon to hang cards on, now that I have enough to bother. :)

Don't let the title put you off, "The Knight's Quest" is Tin Man fic by lionillewhich is very much in keeping with the style of the original Oz books (aside from a little man/man snogging, of course). <3 <3 <3 <3 ! Cain and Glitch to on a quest to find someone who can put the other half of Glitch's brain back in before he dies from not having a whole brain. They barter with beans! They meet crazy people! And who finally saves him and why is in the best tradition of fairy tales and Oz stories. Very satisfying. :) Twenty-five chapters, but I read it all today, in between doing housework.

Oh, I got a "Special Achievement Award" at work, last week or so. It's a small cash award, and they don't say what, exactly it's for. Just being 'special' I guess. Which I must be to have stayed there this long.
